About a year and a half ago, my ex and I basically called it quits. Our relationship wasn't going ANYWHERE and he became an ass. Well, the douchbag left me with a lot of things I don't use or can't wear, including a pair of REAL diamond earrings. I CAN'T WEAR them because my ears are gauged and they'd slip right through. Not to mention, these are from Helzberg Diamonds. He doesn't answer his damn phone nor does her call me back, so I'm debating on pawning these sons of bitches off. But, also another idea was to sell them on Ebay. They are square cut, so they are very pretty. But like I said, I can't wear them at all. If anyone is intrested, I'm willing to sell them for about $150.

I usually keep them until I find a happy home for them.

Which reminds me, I have an extra DVD of the second disk of Samurai 7 (covering episodes 5-8), I also have an extra DVD of the third disk of Samurai 7 (covering episodes 9-12).

Does anyone want them?

Shipping and costs can be negotiated, I don't really have anything set at the moment.

Oh and they are practically new and unused. Includes the little booklet.

I'm sounding like a commercial ...

Just make sure he doesnt get it back from you... Well, in an extreme case, there was said to be one guy to filed a case to take back a ring he supposedly gave his girlfriend when they were dating... I think the guy won the case...

Well anyway, i dont think any case would be filed for a $150 dollar earrings...

you should just use torrents and baka updates....I thought we all do?

Get the Utorrent client.

Go to google and find baka updates.

Go under Releases or search whatever you need in there.

OOOouuuhh....And torrent softwares are being very evil to me. That is why I'll try to stick to DDL if I can. Torrent is so...slow, to me at least.

Give Utorrent a try, seriously, for slow isn't really an issue if you use that.

Well...unless of course....50-300kbps is slow to you...

And if you're using it, be patient, torrents need time to speed up.

If you don't like slow, you can always keep paying, too. uTorrent may be slow but I have never had it screw anything up either. I just start the thing before I go to bed and let it download all night. Everything is usually done by the time I get up. I get as many as ten episodes a night this way, which is why I have a hard time watching it all so it's plenty fast enough for me.

In addition to Baka Updates I also use Anime Suki and for a broader range of genres I also use Mini Nova.

Some of those sites have lists of their groups that include direct links to the subber's websites. Many of these subbers also offer irc downloads as well as torrents, so you could check that too. You could also try Direct Connect but that is even slower than torrents.

Now I have a warning and a question of my own:

My roommate’s computer has picked up a very nasty new virus he says has infected 900,000 computers just last week. He’s been looking into it and says that no one seems to know how this one is spreading or what to do about it, although some think that it is disguised as a video that needs a new codex to play and the virus is hidden in the codex. What it does is it deletes programs that you use - sometimes while you are using them. Yesterday he told me that he was pretty sure that he had gotten rid of it then today I hear him down there cursing and slamming things around. Sure enough, he later came up and told me that he was having trouble with that virus again.

Now, he’s one of these people who are very paranoid about viruses and such and is always doing scans and deleting email and whatnot. My question is this: Why is it that such people are always the ones who have the most trouble with computer viruses and security?
