I know, I know. The title is all wrong if you're at a Cowboy Bebop board, but this isn't just for Bebop. We're into everything here, and as you can see, most of us are just anime fans that flocked here from the depths of AudioGalaxy.

Since many of us don't know each other, I figured we should have a page where we can tell a little about ourselves, why we came here, how we found it.. Basically introduce ourselves to one another. So introduce away, and say whatever you like about yourself!

I think I can see how..

Jin is my favorite character of the three. ^_^ I think inwardly he's the strongest. Mugen might be instead, since he got out of Ryukyu, but he doesn't show it. Jin does show it..and why am I going on about this?

When I was a kid I decided that I didn't like Japanese cartoons (I don't think anyone outside Japan knew the word anime then.) All the characters had tiny noses and mouths (except when they yelled), HUGE eyes and pointy chins. Plus they talked real fast. Not that there were all that many over here. Astro Boy is the only one I can remember, but there must have been others. And that was it for a while.

Then as a young adult a friend showed me a copy of Akira and that changed my attitude, but there still wasn't much around to see. That same friend, by the way, is now one of those people who roll their eyes whenever I try to talk to them about anime. I always say to him, "Well you're the one who got me into it!" Blue_PDT_01_02

Then, I don't know - pre 9/11, I started watching AS on Saturdays. Outlaw Star got to me first, but this Cowboy Bebop thing seemed pretty good too. Eventually, I decided that I liked the CB theme songs and looked them up at AG. I was surprised that to find that there was a whole lot of Cowboy Bebop music and there, underneath all the music, at the bottom of that page, was a message board for Cowboy Bebop.

The first thread I looked at was someone asking what song was playing when Spike fell out the window in episode five and some guy chopping the questioner into little bits. I laughed and started downloading Green Bird. I've been there ever since and now here.
