Sadly, I left it at work when I left today so no reading over the weekend ;_;
I've read a few chapers and it's basic stuff so far, but it does have some very interesting insight on studies that have been done about introvert leadership and how if you pair an introvert leader with extrovert underlings, great things tend to happen because introverts are generally not concerned with being in the spotlight.
Things have been very busy this week because I started my new position. I've formulated a plan to wreck the grading curve and am currently celebrating with a burgers n' booze dinner while watching the last 5 episodes of I Really Really Like You.

Also, I watched 2 episodes of the Ramen Shop and didn't like it
I spent my time wanting to smack that chick and hit him so much that I don't know if I can wait for it to get better =\
DOES it get better? _________________ This is not a signature.™ |

Ohoh? Episode 3 is very um... eventful, so I guess you may be able to decide then if you want to tough it out or not. Other than that, I don't think the two main characters you've met so far change much in the first 5 or so episodes, so you may feel like slapping both for awhile... but my kdrama addict friends liked it and said there are more twists to come. Dramas take soooooooooooo long so I can't really find the time lately to finish them. So busy.
Plus I'm like you in that various obsessions just jump to the top of the pile at certain times... and i've spent the last week chasing kpop. haha. The week before was briggs-myers tests. _________________ nodes aka GTBaka

I got sidetracked by Wild Romance and Iris now that I've finished I Really Really Like You.
I wasn't anticipating watching Wild Romance as I don't like baseball, but I do enjoy people verbally sniping each other for my amusement for hours at a time, so it seemed up my ally. Iris is all srsbsns and very cool so far.
My queue has like 10 series in it... which is like my hulu queue that has like 250 episodes in it... which is like my crunchyroll queue which has like 10 things in it at any given time...
I could take a month off from work and still not work through all the stuff I have marked to watch. _________________ This is not a signature.™ |

I watched Millionaire's First Love. Not bad. Reminded me of dorama I saw a year ago about a top-of-the-class type collage girl who, very much against her will, gets recruited to be a model for a group of collage fashion students. I don't remember the name of it though. _________________

I'll take Paradise Kiss for $2000, Alex.
That's one of my favorite manga, totally cried at the ending like a stupid girl. Not sure about the anime or drama, but in the manga it was just very much about how we can sabotage our own happiness because of our own insecurities and shortcomings. _________________ This is not a signature.™ |

Of course, Paradise Kiss. Silly me. I never saw the manga or anime. I'm talking about the live-action film.
Keta thought about it and wrote: | ...in the manga it was just very much about how we can sabotage our own happiness because of our own insecurities and shortcomings. | I wouldn't say the drama was all about that but it was in there. _________________

Yeah, the manga starts out very lighthearted and enjoyable and then by the end of it you just want to go hug a puppy or something because life sucks. _________________ This is not a signature.™ |

I just got back from a spending a few weeks Up North. My friend who lives in St. Ignace just got the coolest gadget I have seen in a long time. It is an (Link:---->) AR Drone 2.0 which is a remotely controlled "quadrocopter" that uses whatever touch screen device you have (Droid, iPhone, iPad, etc) as it's controller while streaming high quality video to it which can easily be recorded.
Unlike a regular r/c helicopter, the thing has a micro-controller which flies it and you just tell it where you want it to go so it is very easy to fly.
After a few practice flights around the house, we took it down to the Bridge Park for a work out. It was a bit too windy for it which made it hard to control. Here is a link to one of the shorter videos we took there. I'm not in it much so hopefully you won't have to be cleaning puke off of your keyboards. A little explanation is in order. There are two calibrations you do when you fly it. One just before take off that lets it know where flat and level is. Then you hit the "Take Off" button and it jumps about three feet (one meter) into the air and hovers. Then you do the second calibration where it turns rapidly around once. This is easy to spot in the video.
After that he flies it around. Watch the trees to see how windy it is. Looking South at the bridge the wind is coming from the picture's right and the drone leans heavily that way trying to maintain it's position. There is no sound because the machine itself makes too much noise. The thing isn't very stealthy.
