i've debugged until i can debug no more. if i see one more bug i could go crazy. i didn't have any team of beta testers so pardon if any bug that gets away.

so without further delay, here it is, my map... and i'm sweating in anticipation and fear. oh well, hope you enjoy it.

PPS: if ever this comes out pretty well, you can check on this site for updated releases
PPPS: as i've said this still isn't perfect. please don't compare it so much to DotA coz they had six versions to master their craft.
PPPPS: nothing, i just thought it'd be cool to have 4 post scripts...

I think Sange doesn't works, and it ain't working on Gnoll Hunter.

Ride the lightning sounds cool, but is actually very useless.

Ensnare + troll trap is a pretty cool idea, but it'll probably just piss someone off terribly if he's to wait for 1 min of doing nothing. I'll test if it works with another friend soon, but that's all for now.

Am I too blunt?

blunt is good. as long as it's not rude. so far it's not rude at all.

i'll check on that. thank very much for testing stuff. the Gnoll trap is actually an 'annoying' ability. if used skillfully, would frustrate players and force them to get left behind on levels. also on team vs team play, it's a pretty nice ability of taking out the strongest hero instantly. Blue_PDT_01_01

what specifically doesn't work on Sange? the abilities of the item?

ah! Ride the Lightning useless. should i add the damage?

anyway, thanks jynx. feedbacks like this mean a lot to me. i've logged the bugs you found and will see what i can do...

The item adds no strth, but insteads throws everything on damage. and I couldn't feel the maim effect due to Gnoll Hunter's ability...SnY works fine though. Oh yea, I almost forgot, the regen rune doesn't seems to be working.

ok 16 strength is actually 16 damage. that's the problem. fixed it. Maim seems fine. but it would be impossible to tell with Grant having Crippling Poison. the regen rune? i didn't even that touch that, it came with the Template. nevertheless, i'll see if there's anything wrong with it. maybe a code is keeping of from working properly. thanks, keep 'em coming...

UPDATE

regen rune was actually just pretty slow. reduced time it takes to regen and upped amount of HP and mana regenerated. man! making a good map is hard...

Overall, I'm very impressed. It was enjoyable. I never really got into DotA itself, but I do enjoy the mapstyle, and I enjoyed this one quite a bit. I'll probably play through it more in the future to check out each of the heroes.

I played as Dice the Ninja, and I found a bug for one of her abilities, I think it was called the Star of Hayabusa, where for some reason the tooltip won't show. That was all though.

ah! i remember now. i removed all the extended tooltip on that ability which causes the bug. easily fixed but i did forget. thank you for pointing that out.

i'm glad you liked it. Blue_PDT_01_16 sometimes, my map tests stretch for 45 minutes coz i get so hooked up playing a character. thank you, thank you very much!...

Might I add a little suggestion for the "ride the lightning" ability?

Since I'm a Guilty Gear Fan, and Ride the Lightning is one of the moves name on Ky-Kiske, where he actually rides within a giant ball of lightning, I was wondeering if it'd be better to replace fork lightning with Lightning shield ability that deals 30/40/50/60 damage per second to all units around it, including allies. Yea sure it'd make it imba with his slow and snare, but it'd make more sense to it's name.

And I think hell you're doing a pretty good job on this map, though you'd need some name changes if it gets popular...I like the few characters I've seen while choosing so far, and will be testing them out soon....well I'm busy going to a funeral everyday....but yea, I'm going to get a few friends to test it with me, and I'll report to you once I find something.

More bug reports! Harrowvein's Winter Mist ability is causing misses 100% of the time, and to both sides. It was a little fun stopping combat for a while, but that's not how it's supposed to work according to the tooltip. Blue_PDT_01_37
