You know, I might just do that if I get rich enough in 5 years time. How about that? If everything works out, I'll either send a ticket over to everyone who's free, or fly over and pay everyone a visit, and a dinner too?

Might take even more years, but I'm quite sure we'll all live past a hundred! Happiness makes you live longer, and it's not hard to stay happy.

I'm thinking you Grin, Dread, nodes and Ted will be my first visits, it's 4 different places around the world, it'd be fun.

Hmm, top option, only because there is no choice for in between the 1st and the second.

We could try mailing each other food... Blue_PDT_01_07

Great Depression Cooking Video
There's a whole series of them by a 91 year old sweetheart. The recipes are ridiculously easy, cheap and delicious.

Chocolate chip banana cake. It was so good I made it again.

http://bananabreadrecipe.org.uk/chocolate_chip_banana_bread_recipes.htm

Ignore the crap at the top of the page and scroll to the bottom for the recipe.

Odd. Is banana bread considered a threat to national security where you come from? I can just click on it...

Oh well. I'll transcribe it when I get home.

A modified version is even better.

It is odd. The internet I use does not allow spaces in addresses.

Ah. You are correct, so that isn't the problem, but the page still wont load. Firefox says it can't find the server and I still need a good banana bread recipe. =0(

Hmm, yes, I see. I have that problem when I left the UK and tried to access the website from Singapore. Maybe it's national security issues.

The modified version is denser, crustier and has the choc chips less spread out. I prefer it.

Anyway, here's the copy/pasted; modifications to ingredients are in brackets:

Banana-Chocolate Chip Bread

Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 1 Hour Ready In: 1 Hour 15 Minutes
Servings: 16
INGREDIENTS:

* 1 cup sugar (1/2 cup white sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar)
* 1/2 cup shortening 2 eggs
* 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
* 2 bananas, mashed
* 2 cups all-purpose flour (1.5 cups plain flour, 1/2 cup oats)
* 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:

In a mixing bowl, cream sugar and shortening. Beat in eggs, vanilla and bananas until thoroughly blended. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture and stir just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Spoon into a greased 9-in.x 5-in. x 3-in. loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 60-70 minutes or until the bread tests done with a wooden pick. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

You're sure you're not giving away state secrets, are you? I'm not much of a baker, but the next time I have some over-ripe bananas, I have the recipe saved under Her Royal Majesty's Banana-Chocolate Chip Bread. It looks yummy. Blue_PDT_01_08

Excellent. It's well worth making the time to bake this one. Hope you like it!

If you like good soda pop, Boylan's Creamy Red Birch Beer is delicious. (Their "Where to Get Boylan's" store finder is only useful if you are in New York or New Jersey. I found mine at Meijer's Thrifty Acres.)

Virgil's Root Beer is real good, too.
"We’re what Ben and Jerry’s is to ice cream." Right. It's made by old dirty hippies, so you know it's good.
