We already have book, music and anime threads, so let's see how many of you out there are gamers.
I'm not exactly what people would call a hardcore gamer but I really do enjoy my games. Sadly my PC is in need of a serious upgrade so I've been spending most of my game time playing Warning Forever (a free space shooter which just keeps throwing bigger and bigger bosses at you), Riviera (an interesting GBA rpg which I've already been through once but has extra content to be unlocked) and Warcraft III (because it's there). Other games I'm fond of are Dawn of War, Resident Evil 4, Harvest Moon, Katamari Damacy, Advance Wars and the Heroes of Might and Magic series.
So, what do other people play? |

I'm not much of a gamer either.
There is an online game that has caused quite a stir in another mb I go to. It's free, doesn't take a lot of computing power and is very punny. It's called The Kingdom of Loathing. Find it at http://www2.kingdomofloathing.com
I've worked my way up to a 13th level Accordian Thief.
Other than that I usually just play Total Annihilation: Kingdoms. _________________

Do my eyes deceive me or did you just go up to Space Cowboy? That's cool. *applauds*
I've heard about Kingdom of Loathing but never actually tried it. I usually avoid online games. On the other hand, I do like puns, as several often-groaning friends can attest to. |

I just looked up Yggdra Union as I've never heard of it, and it does seem pretty cool. I'll have to wait until it comes out here though.
I ought to actually buy Dawn of War (right now I've only been playing it other places, like Net Cafes). I like the look of the next expansion. Tau and Necrons! |

I have no idea why.
In Warcraft 2 and 3, my speciality was orcs.
In Dawn of War, my speciality is Orks.
And in Command and Conquer Generals...it was GLA, and within it the Demolition General.
I just like mass destructive infantries running all over the map. TankBuztas + Nob Squads + War boss = amazing. |

Playing Battlefield 2 right now. Really good game for all of you combat-simulator maniacs. _________________ Life is a game of chess, upon the end of which, both kings and pawns are placed in the same box. |

I've been playing Battlefield Vietnam lately. There's nothing quite like cruising around in a Huey Gunship with CCR on the radio. The WWII mod for BV is good too. The Japanese soldiers yell funny things like "kuso!"(sp?) with their last dying breaths. |

poke should get BFII, better equipments, ranking style, squads and anti air combat.
The Gunships in BF Vietnam is just too imbalanced. Desert combat bomber's too.
BFII had commanders running around...I have a pretty little silver star award. And basic armour, basic plane, basic engineer, and the funniest one was the wing flag. I parachuted too many times off the top of Kubra Dam, and they awarded me that tiny flag due to me proving my excellency in parachuting.
Too bad I can only play BF2 in Net Cafes... |

Lol, jynx. BFII is probably a bit too new for my old PC. I manage a rather jittery frame rate on BFV, even with low settings. And sometimes, without reason, I suddenly get less than a frame for seconds on end... usually when I'm flying something. Crashes result and I kick stuff. If only I could be given a $2000 gift card to TigerDirect... |

2007? sigh.
Speaking of Halo. There's a hidden halo character in doa. and a hidden halo stage. It's kind of funny using her. _________________ nodes aka GTBaka

I've played that game...just not that character. I've seen her fight. One of her moves is a plasma grenade...pretty cool.
I think E3 had a video for the new volleyball game. |
