His pace was slow and calm, but each step rang out a beat. His eyes were lowered, and his shoulders had sunk, but his body showed no sign of fatique. The clothing he wore was covered with so much dust and dried mud that the former rich blacks had turned to ragged tans. The stranger trudged out of the nothingsness carrying only a beat up black leather duffle bag, and as he whistled an old familiar tune he surveyed what had become of his former haunt through thick sunglasses.

Under a tree, a man was resting peacefully enjoying the mild breeze of the wind. His sword laid nicely on his shoulder and his hand rested on it's scabbard. Then footsteps woke him from his slumber, he looked at the passing stranger. He turned away from him and gave a smirk. "Heh... And so the man is still alive. Welcome back...I think" he whispered and resumed his slumber.

She stood up from her spot, her breath showing in the cold air. She wore a panda hat and red scarf, many layers of clothing not showing her forum, only her eyes viewable. They were searching, watching him, analyzing him. She closed her eyes for a moment, then made her way towards him. "Welcome back stranger." She enveloped him in a hug, squeezing the life out of him.

The bag simply dropped from his hands, and he coughed with much embarassment at the filth that rose off in a small cloud after being disturbed by the hug, but it didn't stop him from wrapping her in a hug just the same. With a voice, raspier than what it should have been he added, "They told me if I wanted to see you again I'd have to come here"

From behind (AoC) appeared a man dressed with think clothing from head to toe that only his eyes are uncovered. The colors of his clothes contrasted the pouring snow that rained from the heavens.

"He has come to see you, my lady. And yet you seem astonished even after you've cracked his bones with that hug..."

He also greets the newcomer: "Welcome back! I assume we haven't met..."

She felt her cheeks warm in the cold and turned her head away. She unwrapped the scarf from her neck and placed it around him. "Let's just get you someplace warm, ne?" She gave him a small smile and pat his head.

Le Marquise lifted his eyes to the figured wrapped in clothing and met the exposed eyes, with a greeting nod. "I wouldn't be suprised if we had actually...the world is a small place, and names...they tend to change." He ran a ran over the scarf. "Thank you, but all I really need is a some place to clean up...My bones will warm themselves after that"

She turned around and sighed, then spoke softly. "There is a bathhouse this way. Though the man under the tree over there owns it, I'm sure he wouldn't mind us using it." She gave a little chuckle as she looked over at the one mentioned. "Taicho! Wake up." She walked gingerly to him and gave him a good kick. Without a second's hesitation she held him down with her foot and took the bath house's keys. "Thank you!" She bowed, a coy grin upon her lips.

"Let's go then." She gave Revan a glance and then began walking in the direction of the bath house.

She found herself humming a little tune, hearing the endless "boku wa kuma" sung in her head. The song made her smile to herself. Looking up though she noticed the intricate bath house with its large Ionic-styled columns, the intricate friezes adorning the top... "We're here. I'll ready a room for you. Any particular minerals for your water?" She turned to look at him, almost expecting a no in reply. "There are some to help relax you, if you so wish."
