oh jet, you are so cool.
good to see that someone else has read the book version on bladerunner.
philip dick and vonnegut are awesome, i say, and even if ppl don'tt agree, they need to experience their writing, sometime.
i miss that movie. i need to buy it once and for all.
did anyone else think the somewhat forceful love scenes between harrison's character and the robot girl rachel were a lil creepy? i mean, they weren't violent and scary or anything, but it was a lil out of place, maybe even preverted? i assuume a lot of ppl liked it tho, too, so whatever.

Yes, I was creeped out by that love scene. The other love scene was creepy, too. The one between Rutger Hauer and his creator. Come to think of it, everyone in that movie was creepy, even the quiet little inventor chap.

I just watched it the other day...and yes it is very creepy. "Say you want me" or whatever he says. Kinda weird. Even creepier in the book; if I remember correctly, somebody tells him to sleep with her before he kills her. |

yeah, as if, "ya better get the most outta that model while it's still runnin'." and i dunno if this is fully accurate, but i think she even knows it, but goes along with it, anyway, like that's what she wanted all along? and then she tries to kill him, not bc he is gonna kill her but because she is jealous of the other girl...that looks just like her. f'd up, man, f'd up. and yet it is so good. hah gee wiz.

Your English has improved, Dread. So has jjjynx'. I suspect that the problem was more with your understanding us than our understanding you. I never had any problem getting what you were saying.
You know that if I say something that you don't understand, all you have to do is ask. You can even ask me about stuff from elsewhere that you can't define. Idioms are the toughest thing to learn because, by definition, you can't figure out what is meant by knowing the individual words; you have to define the whole phrase.
