On a related note, I love asking people if they would mind doing me a favor. The reply is either yes or know.

Glad you got the email. I was feeling pretty sad about how lonely this place has gotten and how crappy it would be to shut it down. Especially after re-reading so many priceless threads. So I figured, what the heck, mass email all the members.

Wasn't there an movie with a line like that? "If you email it, they will come."

Speaking of movies, I was reading the Brethren of the illuminati thread in the hidden forum and I had a de ja vu moment. I realized it totally reminded me of Zuckerman in the social network trying to figure out a "friending" algorithm. You had that moment way back in 2007. So I was thinking, that would've been cool if you invented facebook.

But then I checked wikipedia and it was launched in 2004. Oh well. The thought was cool.

I didn't see the Zuckerman movie but I did read the interview with him in the New Yorker, he most certainly did not approve of his portrayal in the movie but it did seem like he was a bit immature during his undergraduate years.
