What Manga Are You Reading?

If any of you read manga, I'm not sure if you do... But what are you reading these days? There's a lot of good stuff out there, and equally bad stuff. Maybe you can even make recommendations here for those who'd like to read the good stuff.

Currently I'm reading Category Freaks [18+ for some nudity] which is about a group of teenagers who call themselves "stands" that kill off "freaks," evil spirits that posses people and feed off of their weaknesses and desires.

And I'm into Beauty is the Beast, but that's a shoujo so I doubt you guys would read it. Skipping on through, I just started Death Note! Light Yagami is an ordinary student, the exception being he's very intelligent, and he found a god of death's notebook, wherein he writes the names of people who he wishes to years of their life from by killing them. Light reads the instructions and decides to cleanse the world of corrupt people by killing off criminals. He starts a chain and is noticed by the police. A secret detective "L" begins work on the case, trying to find out who "Kira" or "Killer" is.

Haven't read manga in awhile.

But I am in the process of reading Katsu, and Ichigo 100%

Manga scanslators are sooooooo freaking slow. Your at the mercy of when they feel like working.

I have deathnote, I think I didn't finish it because of the reasons stated above, but it is fairly interesting.

Question regarding your poll. Is that how many books you own? Or how many series you own?

How many books. Series wouldn't be as impressive XD Because I have... 75 books, consisting of 26 series and 3 preview books.

I wonder if I should put a bigger number on the poll? ^^;

But I don't think of you guys as manga collectors... so I'm not sure if you'd have much more than what's already listed.

Hahaha Assuming that all of my manga are about $10, I have $750 worth of manga in my room. If I added my real books with it...Hmm...$884.78... wow... hahaha That's because one book didn't say how much it was, and the lord of the rings set is from..a long time ago when each book was $1.50 XD


Not that anyone cares. But I like knowing ^_^

I don't have a lot of manga unless you count the stuff I've downloaded. I have the Cowboy Bebop Shootingstar books and four of Initial-D that I got on sale at Radio Shack for $5.

I'm not currently reading any. I guess I goofed on the poll. I should have checked 6-10 rather than none.

Oh, and sorry, I don't read scans, at least not yet, even if I start I only intend to read Gashbell, Naruto and Bleach only, because I've only collected less than half of the books the have, and I don't think buying the other rest just to complete it's collection will help in my quest of getting an Xbox360....anyways, I'm more interested in buying them for keepsake, you see, like a hobby. I'm guessing it's around 2k+ S$ spent in the shelf already, and the shelf is getting full, so I'm thinking of getting another beside my bed when I start working...it's worth it for me, I'm a very serious Otaku

DID I mention? TENJOU TENGE'S MANGA ROCKS (I forgot about this too, only after looking at the previous post...I didn't own it though, my friends )
