Got distracted, ohi.... The whole senario my last semester at high school was like Rocky...
Lol I was slapping myself for not poofing back sooner over the summer though.

Yay I feel all loved lol.

Yeah at the dorm I'm living in, it houses alot of the asian international students.... I feel so sad since I can't speak Cantonese or Mandarin and I know they all expect me to when they see me.... ^^'
I'm taking Japanese though, my professor's going HELLA fast... 50 Hiragana to memorize in 5 days.............................
Haha so I decided I'd mooch as much Mandarin off my room mate, her friends and you guys as I could lol.

Hmm, lately I've been watching Seirei no Moribito and that's pretty good.

I can speak some Chinese but I'm not sure how I'd be able to do that online. Are you aware of the 4 tones? Do you know pinyin? Cuz if you know that then I can just type stuff out ... if not, then I'll probably have to do it phonetically through English and I have no idea how I'm going to be able to convey the tones.

Any other Chinese people on this forum?

for the last word, think "went" without the "t". Each word is only one syllable long.

My pinyin tends to be bad though because I'm so used to English so sometimes I'll mix up my vowels, don't be surprised if I spell things wrong, but if someone does notice any misspellings please tell me, so I can remember not to make that mistake in the future.

Hm, well my roomie speaks Mandarin, so I can ask her those tones if need be 0o... Jj told them to me long ago and I actually sort of thought he was a good chinese teacher. I don't remember them now though.

lol yes "Nihao" is the only word I know XD.... well "shi" too... or "Shi-er".... that's it....

Yeah, He's from singapore. I think he knows English, Mandarin, and a couple local languages from the area. He showed me this hella bizzare looking site with symbols from what you get when you cross Korean and Japanese or something, he was trying to learn that too lol.

i want to reply back but it's hard to do when i don't know what they're saying

i feel like i ought to make a solemn vow that one day i shall no longer be illiterate ... but learning chinese is oh so difficult ...

And well you can always post the messages here and I can sort of translate them for you whenever I am free.

And if you really like chinese, I don't see why you should be concerned wether it's difficult or not. I'm loving Japanese Class nowadays.

And yea Sorra, I was trying to figure out how to read and write Tamil, but I gave up. I'm never going to India.
