Just finished the series today. Some of you are watching it but I have a question.

spoiler
Can anybody explain why King Arthur in servant form is a girl, Saber? Is King Arthur a girl? Or does Saber, King Arthur's incarnate form, just happen to be a girl?

Damn those Japanese and gender blurring. (Farking Yayoi!)

Simple, King Arthur is a Girl. No incarnation, no nothing. Servants are mostly considered heroes of any age, any time, anywhere, and they are part of a heroes society which are called upon into various timeline of the Holy Grail War. Saber was just unfortunately, summoned twice. And if you haven't already noticed, if it was not told (I'm dling the final episode now, mind you)....Archer is the older form of Emiya Shirou, though I am unable to explain in details what happened, because I never did get to play the game...you can try net sources on Fat/Stay Night storyline, it's a H-Game, with a beautiful knight and a good storyline.

Oh yes, I just <3 guys that look girly.

Seriously, I think the Japanese created this sub-culture because they 'walang masikil.' Not really masculine in the first place, so might as well convince everyone that your only a cool guy if you're a girly-man.

Genuine Yayoi action? Get that mess as far away from me as possible.

spoiler
That's what I figured jjjynx. King Arthur by all accounts of FSN... is a girl. I guess my question actually is posed to the authors of the story. Why did they choose to ignore the historicity of the fact that King Arthur was a man? What was there motive in doing that? All other hero's had the correct gender.

Sounds like they were smoking something when they came up with the idea.

Creator: "Dude! I have this like cool idea! We can make a hentai game and the main character's love interest is King Arthur! But get this... she's a girl! How cool is that?"

Producer: "Righteous!!!"

Ave, correct. And I must say she looks cool, well I suppose many otakus like beutiful females with superhuman powers and does not dress like Wonderwoman at the same time.

Edit:

Well I finally watched the final episode, at 8 in the morning...so it was the normal ending, and the things that happened next was never stated. I guess they wanted the fans to guess their own ending...

Watch Yami no Matsuei and think about the definition of tranime.

EDIT: A fangirl once suckered me into seeing that... that and Gravitation... sometimes cute... sometimes the hibblie jibblies...

Darker Decendent or was it Dencendent of Darkness, anyway I've watched it since it was aired on AXN. At first, I thought it was cool but then after watching their...intimate relationship, I had to say it wasn't my type of anime to watch but the animation is well done...and beautiful. And I wonder why do almost all girls loved to watch this yaoi anime? I've also have a friend...a fangirl, that actually collects yaoi mangas and anime. And I was tricked into reading one of em cause she told me it had this really cool swordsman and nice story. And I was devastated...

Darker Decendants. No need to think any further.

I don't really mind intimate relationships and such...heck I think I'm the only fella here who's read enough of girls manga to be able to talk to both female and male otakus about boyxboy, girlxgirl, boyxboyxgirl...etc. besides Baronight, who hasn't moved here yet, he knows more about boyxgirls than I do.

and not all girls manga are like that...there're those funny and cute ones, like fruit basket, D.N Angel, Petit Monsters...Angel Sanctuary....ermm...and some others I can't quite translate, since it got it's title translated into something different.

And yes, I'm a male. but why the sudden change of discussion of Fate/Stay Night into how us males react to Shoujo stuffs.

You...you...you two are abnormals. Even after watching those fobidden acts. And nodes ...I fear I should stay away from you. For many unknown reasons other than my long hair people easily mistaken me as a girl. And that scares me...

No I do enjoy the light stuff. Keep the genuine hardcore yaoi action away from me s'what I'm talking about.

Otherwise, it's pretty funny, or cute, or whatever they're trying to accomplish.

Ah I get it, we just have to keep it clean. That's a good thing, since once you get into those you don't get out...and Dread I don't think I have ever mistook a man for a woman before, so be safe with that. I'm not gay either, I just experience more shoujo stuffs than you do.

Well back to topic, so who here actually finished watching Fate/Stay Night? And enjoyed it?

personally I liked both Type-Moon series turned animes, since they mix their fare share of fighting and relationship together, and nicely...so if I'm to comment I'm going to be quite biased, and I will admit I'm a fanboy.

But I'm curious how you guys think.

I'm having trouble downloading them from one of your recommended anime direct download sites. In other words I haven't watch them yet though the pic you gave me appeals me to watch them. So... DAMN!!! Less than 3kbs to download it what...the..heck??! If it's a dial-up connection I don't mind since 3kbs is quite amazingly fast for dial up. AHH~ this problem never occur on other sites.

Well...I don't agree with you there Sorra. The only thing that bothers me was their intimate relationship...too much of it. Other than that, there's nothing more that I could complain since it's beautifully done.
