Looking forward to Berserk the Black Swordsman arc coming in July ( Japan ). Aaaaaaaand that means I have to wait till July for my next dosage of Berserk chapter...dam you Miura.....but I love you too. That piece of work is as old as I am.

It better be good. The last 3 Berserk movie were.....meh...but I really dig the 3rd movie piece...cause it somewhat captured the The Eclipse Tragedy not to say perfectly but.....it got my attention.

Yeah, the last good swordsman anime I saw was....The Sword of Stranger, I think.

Oh...and btw....there's a news about FLCL second season coming out. Seriously, after like what.....more than 10 years? maybe 15 years....sheeesssshhh.....took them long enough.

For this season anime....let see,

Joker Game caught my attention with its spy theme. Can't remember any spy theme anime that I watched in my lifetime. First 2 episodes were.....kinda slow. Hope it gets better....

Another one would be Haifuri. It has this....Girls und Panzer like atmosphere. So far...2 episodes out and I got hooked. I imagine if the anime gets dub it will be fantastic.

The exact opposite....I probably had too much time for the pass few weeks till now. With that much time, I could die out of boredom. Watched good old animes and movies and dramas. That nostalgia...sometimes I hate it, other times it's soothing.

Anyway....another anime that you should add to your watchlist would be....Kabaneri of Iron Fortress. The animation is very good. Steampunk style plus Zombie outbreaks. Story so far is...kinda good.

p/s....Tried to watch grave of fireflies again few weeks back. I don't have the guts to watch that heart wrenching movie. How long has it been since I last watch it......17-18 years....I think. I remember shedding too much tears....with my cousins....at night. And when the movie ended, me and my cousins didn't speak a word and went to sleep.

Yeah, Grave of the Fireflies is a hard movie to watch. It only gets worse as you get older - you can relate to it more. All the bawling only shows that you're still a human in good standing. I'd worry more if it didn't effect you that way.

Last night I re-discovered the Bartender manga I'd quit reading years ago when the manga site I was using quit carrying it. I still haven't found where I had left off and may end up starting it all over. It's one of those unique ones - nothing else like it. There was a couple of seasons made into an anime in 2006 which was also good. ...It occurs to me that this may not be your thing, Dread, seeing as you're Muslim - no offense intended. I'll leave it for any others that may wander by.

Oh~ Grin, I am prolly closer to being an atheist than being a muslim. If I were to give a value to my....beliefs.....I am maybe 90% prone towards atheism and another 10% muslim....just because there is a small part of me that wants to believe in Islam / God. ANd between you and me....here, I am no experts in alcoholic beverages....but, I love vodka.

I remember reading Bartender but dropped it for some reason. Might pick it up again since you reminded me of it. And that it has an anime adaptation~ gonna watch it later.

So how are you guys enjoying the new Berserk? I like it well enough but it isn't as good as the original.

I've been re-watching the second season of Mushishi. There really isn't anything else like it.
