honestly, i think DotA's popularity is just a freak accident. they're not even the real original makers of DotA, or some the earlier heroes. all the same people tend to stick with what's familiar. then again there are for better custom maps out there. hanging out in TheHelper.NET, anyone would ask why DotA is still so popular.
anyway, for the Merchant's Coin, i'll think about it. it is kinda balanced coz you can't drop it unless you die so that's one slot wasted for a discount card. and no one can't plan for the Coin coz its 1% probability and it drops only once then never again... _________________ <-- Now Defunct |

I killed myself on creeps, perhaps that's why my chiken took it
but they could've just gotten their chicken near, kill themselves, then grab the loot and run |

tnx. take all the time you need. i'll be out for sometime and work on other stuff. i'll hold the map project for now. hopefully, the next release would have 2nd taverns, 2 new game modes, and some mini game spin offs of LotP. till then, farewell thee ... I got it and it's nice to see the bugs from before fixed. Though Timmy still stays red for a little while after his transformation, but mechanically it's working fine. I did notice when I played that I couldn't get the empty bottle to work on the scourge's fountain though... I need to replay it to check if it's the same for all heroes.
But yeah, it's still a lot of fun and one of the few maps I actually replay. |
