He means that a harddrive is a terrible place to keep stuff that is precious to you. Harddrives sooner or later fail - all of them.

It happened to me a few years ago. I lost 17 gigs of music, tons of video and all my email back to when I first got online. "Oh well, at least my music is backed up on my Dad's computer." His harddrive failed the next day. I still cry over some of the stuff I lost.

I know how you feel, Grin. I dunno how to explain it but when I lost my sketches...seems like my mind went blank, I tried hard to recreate my original drawings but never satisfied with them. Anyway....it's a very dark feeling. And I think, I did cried. And I started blaming other people, in the end...I realized I am at fault, not them. Haaa~ fortunately, the loss I had with my com ain't as bad as the loss of my sketch books. But still I miss them.

17 gigs of songs!!?!?! UNBELIEVEABLE!!! I have only 3 gigs

I have over twice that much music now, and over 200 gigs of Anime video alone. But there were many rare songs that I love which I haven't been able to relocate in any medium.

Final drawing progress...30%, Final painting progress 20%......sketching progress around 20-25%.....what else do I miss? Ahhh~ The much hated typography, fortunately enough 60% done, Hmmm....I have lots of stuff to do within the next 5 months. MUAhAHahaAHhahA...

AHHHH~ And it's not a comic. But it does involve 11th Division, and swords.....more fighting scenes...more blood...And I wish I could show them but, how the heck am I suppose to scan an A2 art paper? My scanner only scans A4, that an I DO NOT wish to fold my beloved artwork....wait...come to think of it, my mom has a digi cam, now the problem is how am I going to snatch it? ANYWAY...it's very tiring but fun...You guys should paint. It is a way of relieving stresses...other than that, well, you might be able to stay away from the devilish technology called internet once in awhile.

I paint models, does that count? Used to be into Warhammer (still am, in theory, just not buying any more), now I collect Hordes because it's cheaper, has more focus on individual models and I like the models better. It's very relaxing, but my eyes and hands need frequent breaks. I also draw a lot. I'm not too good with painting on canvas, though I'd like to be. I stuff it up easily. I need to experiment more! Play around with lots of stuff until I get it right. Yes... thank you Dread, you've been most inspiring.
