Alright MNB! It's about time! So not all the guys around there are gay or stupid. And you said that you were sick!
My parents met when they were both working at Kroger's Supermarket in Oxford, Michigan. (Dad was a butcher before he became a fireman.) Mom was in the back room on top of a huge pile of potatoes. She fell off and landed in Dad's arms. That's the way Dad tells it, but then, he's Irish. _________________

I was sick, so sick that I really thought I was going to die and when you think you're about to die suddenly everything changes perspectives.

Congratulations missy! Boyfriends are neat, so long as they're good! I hope you've got a good one. :3

This is really bad. I need to wean myself off of him.
Disclaimer: I don't mean that he's a bad boyfriend or that things are going poorly between the two of us, I mean I hate this feeling of chemical dependency. It's like I can't stop thinking about him and I feel the urge to call him every 5 seconds.
Note to self: Think MUGEN. I need to be more like Mugen. |

Don't be silly, MNB, being in love is one of the most wonderful things you can experience in life - even if it ends badly. As Jake's Beer said, "'Tis better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all." Besides, who knows, you may be one of the truely lucky ones where it never does end.
I'm likely to be here very sparingly for a while. My computer is very sick. I'm posting this from the library. I'm going to need a serious geek to fix this one. I can't even wipe the drive and reinstall windows. _________________

I don't think I believe in "love" though. And if this is what love is then it's definitely not what I imagined. I did try to not call him or contact him for as long as I could and that only lasted about 24 hours. I give up. Trying to not talk to him just takes too much time and energy.
I just feel like in the back of my mind that I might be making a huge mistake. We're in the process of discussing the possibility of him moving in with me. Maybe things are moving a little too fast? What if it turns out that we don't really belong together and then we hate each other and the whole thing turns out to be a big mess and my entire life falls apart?
(I'm a bit of a pessimist when it comes to this whole relationship stuff ... can you tell?)
How did your computer get so sick, Grin? Hmm, my first thought was: My boyfriend is a computer geek, he could probably fix it for you. |

Don't worry, if things do work out then it'll probably settle down. You just started a relationship, so it's natural to be that way, but you just have to go with the flow. _________________ PARTY TIME. |

Well, I've actually known him for 6 years, or rather more accurately I first met him 6 years ago. This is the first time I've depended on him and really needed emotional support to pull through a crisis situation. I think I just have problems with feeling dependent. |

Ooo, booooyfriend. I'd say the moving in together may be a bit fast and can end badly (heck, living with my best friend didn't even end well), but other than that there's no reason to be freaked out.
This is a delayed reply. I apologize. _________________ "You left me for a TREE!?"

wow congrats on that - but being single again is pretty cool though - my gf of 2 years decided after my last acco that it was over - something about me not giving up 2 wheels - even though the acco was a freak event!

Well, if she ditches you in your time of need, I guess you're better off without her. Though it does sound like she was worried about you. _________________ PARTY TIME. |

it's all good though - gives me more time to focus on other things in life which are important - like my health and time for a holiday away from the industry - wooohooo |

I guess I get that... I recently broke up with my boyfriend of over a year, and I'm just kind of enjoying the time to myself. I no longer have obligations to spend time with anyone, and thus can do anything I want whenever I feel like it. So that's pretty nice. _________________ "You left me for a TREE!?"
