You know, I've been 21 for a month and I really haven't done much drinking at all... .:Frowns:. I mean, really didn't get drunk on my birthday either, only a couple of smirnoffs and a jack! THIS SUCKS!

Reminds me of when I turned 21. I didn't drink for like 3 or 4 months. The allure of drinking something forbidden must of worn off at the strike of midnight of my birthday.
I was actually proud of that. No drink would enslave me.
Except now... this muscle milk has got me whipped.

I don't drink that much anyway, but yeah... when you're already drinking, reaching legal age isn't as big of a deal as it's made out to be.

So, to make it official. I bought Cutty Sark Scotch... only because the gift pack had this really cool poker set with it.
And I must confess, even though I've had it before, it's like new and it's dangerously smooth.

It's even better if you leave out the hot chocolate and just warm up the Baileys, Lost. I have a recipe for mixing your own Bailey's, if anyone is interested.
Those poker sets are only cool if you have a fireplace to use them in or a bad guy to brain, nodes.

Straight - nothing mixed with your base drink.
On the Rocks - on ice. Not exactly the same as just chilled, because you introduce some water that melts from your ice which either makes the drink weaker or palatable depending on how long you let it sit around.
Irish Car Bomb. Just a fun bar trick.
You fill a highball or flat pint glass 1/2 to 3/4 full with guiness. Adjacent to that you have a shot glass of Bailey's.
In one fell swoop, you drop the entire shot glass facing up into the guiness and down the entire drink. The key is to drop the shot glass in so that the contents do not mix. That way as you chug down the guiness, you are rewarded at the end with the candy like Irish Cream... Irish Car Bomb.
Now as Grin says, a real man, will not chug his guiness, he will enjoy it slowly, the pouring, settling, head, body, totally unadaulterated.

You're right of course, but I thought you were talking about something that involved spilling it.
Once I got so drunk on Guinness that I puked. This was not wasting it. Unlike American beer, it still tasted good coming up, so I got to enjoy it twice. It was the first and only time that I ever puked and went, "Mmmmm...!" The thought even flickered across my muddled mind that I should have puked into a bucket so that I could enjoy it a third time.
